Order Family History Packages

This page is for ordering family history research packages. If you are paying for other services, like extra books, bespoke work, or upgrades please visit the payments page.

If you do not wish to use a debit or credit card online, cheques and bank transfers are also accepted. Please use the Contact Form to arrange this.

Once you have completed payment, the research forms will be posted to you to complete. Sometimes there is a waiting list to begin research, please contact me before ordering to advise. Typically research takes 6–8 weeks to complete, or longer for the larger packages, once work can start on a project.

PayPal is used to process payments, but you do not need a PayPal account. When you click 'Buy Now' you will be taken to the secure PayPal website and can then select 'Pay by Debit or Credit Card'.

As at today, my next available research slot is to start week-commencing 17 June 2024. Estimated finish dates are as follows... One Surname: early-August; Two Surname: early-August; Four Surname: mid-August; Pedigree: late-August. If ordering extra copies, or adding the "More Research Bundle", then please allow extra time. Your deposit will reserve your research slot and allow the work to be undertaken. The balance is due at completion.

More Research Bundle + £275

Some people like to work back further than the early 1800s. This package adds five extra hours research to the base package and includes the expense of a visit to a repository in London or the South East of England if required (or converted to research time if not). Sometimes after completing the basic package it may become apparent that earlier research isn't possible for the particular family; in this case, this extra package will be refunded. Please contact me for further information. No guaratee is made about what is possible in the five hours, a lot will depend on the family in question and what records have survived for the area where they were living.

Extra Copies of Book and Charts:

Cost of extra copies depends on the base package and are priced as follows: One Surname £55, Two Surname £60, Four Surname £70, Pedigree £75.

Payment can be made in full now or a 50% deposit with the balance due at completion, just before the package is posted.

4. Shipping

Postage in the UK is included in the prices quoted here. If you are outside the UK, please contact me for an estimate before placing your order, as this will incur extra charges.
