Family history research is a wonderful gift. Projects have been commissioned for special birthdays and Christmas presents.
Some people like to give their loved-one a completed family tree project on their special day. However, research can take a number of weeks and so this isn't always possible. If this is the case, the work can begin, then in time for their special day, an old-fashioned wax-sealed letter can be presented. This will explain the gift and may contain something to wet their appetite; perhaps a marriage certificate already obtained.
If you don't know enough to begin research for your dear loved-one, then they are probably the best person to give the information to start the project. If this applies, a special wax-sealed, old fashioned letter can be sent to them to open on the big day. They can then supply the starting information. These are offered instead of gift vouchers because they are much more personal and fun to open!
For gifts, the best choice is usually one of the available packages. Work has also been commissioned to help in other ways, including a visit to an archive and general research assistance. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Hello Tony, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the hard work you put into the family tree research. We just attended my mum's 70th birthday dinner and my daughters presented it to my mum. It was a lovely moment from the youngest member of our family (2 years old), to the oldest. My mum has always wanted to do the research but for one reason or another never got round to it. She is absolutely thrilled with it and it has answered some questions she always had. I'm so impressed, I'm actually tempted to get my maiden surname researched by you in the new year. I'll be in touch!
